"yamping" is yuppy camping. We stayed at a Deluxe Cabin at Cape Lookout State Park between Tillamook and Pacific City in the 1st week in February. The cabins are fabulous...they have a bathroom inside (and a shower)!!! Yurts don't, but are still fun!:) I wouldn't recommend camping in February, it was very windy at night, some large branches hit the cabin. It was still fun to go exploring in the rain and we had the most amazing view of the stormy sea right on our front porch!! We cooked on the gas grill while looking at the ocean!
We got to take Jeffrey to the Tillamook Air Museum and the Cheese Factory! He loved both of course. W are going back to the cabin in November (the only one they had). Sometimes November is great weather (cross your fingers)!!!
